Father Bill Fickel, Retreat Director

Fr. William Fickel, S.S.S. is a member of the Blessed Sacrament Congregation, and serves as Director of the Center for Eucharistic Evangelizing in Cleveland, Ohio. Following the inspiration of St. Peter Julian Eymard, Father seeks to respond to the hungers of the human family with the riches of God’s love manifested in the Eucharist. Father’s ministry flows from a life centered on the Eucharist. He has served on the faculty of Contemplative Outreach, and directs retreats in Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina.  Fr. Fickel’s retreat ministry has taken him throughout the country and around the world. He is also active with Food For The Poor and has taken mission trips to Haiti and Jamaica.  Contemplative prayer bears the fruit of compassionate love in his life. Fr. William resides at Saint Paschal Baylon Parish, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, Cleveland, OH 44143

Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House

Montserrat retreat center, founded in 1959, is located on a secluded inlet of Lewisville Lake in Lake Dallas Township. Two buildings provide lodging with sixty-seven private rooms with bath, each individually heated and air-conditioned. Its campus embraces thirty-nine acres of lawn, trees and lakeshore to wander which provides an environment of peace and tranquility. A restful library overlooks a long lawn down to the lake, as does a glass-walled dining room.  The new Campion Hall provides two large conference rooms for retreats & meetings. The Chapel of St. Ignatius offers a place to worship and seats 100.

Bring comfortable casual clothes and walking shoes. Your room is completely furnished with linens, blankets, and towels. You will find a Bible in each room.

The dining room is open all the time and you are welcome to drinks, hot and cold, and to fruit and snacks. Each day meals are served at 8 am, Noon and 6 pm.
